If you don't want insurance I'm ok with that. However, you better have the means to handle your responsibilities. If you drive without insurance you better have the means to pay for my car repairs and medical expenses (if you hit me) not to mention your own .. If you don't want to pay for health insurance you better be able to pay your doctor bill when you get sick or break arm. I don't want to subsidize you via my tax dollars because you didn't want to pay for insurance and now can't afford to pay your own way. Same thing with helmet laws. You don't want to where a brain bucket, don't, I don't care. Some people are more productive members of society upon death than in life. But if you get in accident and wind up as a veggie I don't want to pay for you being incapacitated for the rest of you life.
