Exactly.

For me, I've been using other flavours of Linux for a few years... but never
as a work station...

Compatibility was always the big reason for Windows XP etc....

I think I'm gonna take the plunge for my work computer... which will be
mostly coding and research (or googling).

I'll keep my Windows based laptop for my accounting software.

But I must say... I'm so interested in those MacBooks....
;-)

Vista might also be a plus for Apple.
