I see how conceal and carry can help prevent normal crimes, but I don't see how it could have done anything in this event. We are talking crazy nut job actions here. A guy that planned this out, I'm now seeing where they think he called in multiple bomb threats to some of those same building, probably looking at the evacuation and other plans in place in the event that something goes wrong. He chained the door and one news report I read said he had on a bullet proof vest. > -----Original Message----- > From: Loathe [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, April 18, 2007 9:14 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: VA Massacre & Gun Control > > Last I check you became a vested citizen of this nation at 18 years > old. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Nick McClure [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, April 18, 2007 8:34 AM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: VA Massacre & Gun Control > > I'm in favor of conceal and carry, but I don't think it would have been > any > different if somebody else had a gun. > > I wouldn't mind professors to be able to carry, however I think > students is > out of the question. > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Deploy Web Applications Quickly across the enterprise with ColdFusion MX7 & Flex 2 Free Trial http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=RVJU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:232931 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
