God, I miss being a kid.

spear fishing for trout.
blue crab fishing with a rope and a fish head. just throw it out, and
drag it slowly ashore. then cook them by the hundreds
trying to catch the square bailed hay as it gets shot from the bailer.
making forts in the hay lofts with the bales. then having bb gun
fights up there.
riding up the hay elevator.
falling off the 2x6 runways while running wheelbarrows up and over,
and ending up literally chin deep in _steaming_ ....
building an honest to god log cabin with axes one summer.
riding bikes 20 miles to get to the right swim hole.
spelunking in all the bunkers and cement tunnels under the navy base
and under wwii defenses.
