This is not the first of this kind of story I've seen. A few years ago, a chlid was taken away from his vegan parents because the kid was severely malnourished. He managed to live, but at age 3 or 4 he only weighted something like 15 pounds, and suffered BRAIN damage due to his malnutrition.
These kinds of stories make me sick to my stomach.
