Whoa, when did he say that???? And why would God decided to inspire some people prior to writing and > never inspire anyone again? And if Jesus was his son, why wouldn't > Jesus set everything straight? He could've sat down with some scribes > and said, "ok dudes, here's the dilio ..." But he didn't. Gruss, if you are looking to make sense of religion, forget it. The answer for all your questions is simply: "Faith." The freewill to believe in God, or not. If Jesus turned you into a frog, that might make a believer out of you...but removes an awful lot of the fun of it, eh? So what's the inspiration? Here's a bunch of conflicting and > confusing stuff ... chew on that for 2000 years and then I'm sending > my son down. But he won't straighten anything out. Good luck? If you look only at what Jesus said and did, those few pages in the bible that are actually descriptive of Jesus' message and actions....it's very, very clear. "Do unto others, as you'd have them do unto you." Done. All the rest is just filler. I'd say Jesus straightened everything out....and we've been twisting it ever since. It's what we do. Humans i mean. -- Boy, you best pray that I bleed real soon.
