Which is why they're liberals, really. More laws = bigger government. That's the irony: traditionally your social conservatives had a strong sense of morality that they didn't need laws for and, further, decried the litigious society we live in. Yet here they are making the argument that we DO need to make illegal anything that's not ethical - the true nanny state: it's not wrong unless it's illegal. So much for the "moral majority".
