I've listened a couple of times, I don't think he intentionally makes racial
comments, but at the same time, I think he thinks that he doesn't have to
apologize for what he says... He either has no perception that his audience
lives and dies by every word he utters, or just doesn't care.

My problem with him is his hypocrisy concerning his drug addiction. He's an
addict who belittles people just like him. He had a chance to do something
spectacular for the understanding and treatment of addiction, he chooses to
dismiss, belittle and undermine addicts and treatment.

Other than that I don't think he's very important in the grand scheme of
things.

Have you ever listened to his show? if you listen to what he says, day in
and day out, it's quite obvious he's not racist. If people have
"perceptions" of him as a racist, quite honestly, that is their own fault.

It can be hard to stomach, but if you REALLY want to find out about someone,
you have to actually LISTEN to them, not to what other people are saying
about them. So I think you are wrong when you say he has done "nothing to
alter that perception". He has....every day for 3 hours.

Rush is a lot of things...he's a lot of things i really hate....but I
honestly don't think he's racist.
