yeah, we bought ours 5 years ago and it was in pretty bad shape cosmetically .... pure 70's décor ... old lady smell ... we decided the only way we'd make money when we sold was to rehab everything ... I think the list of improvements we included with our seller's disclosure was 2 pages long
BUT If we get our asking price we stand to clear about $20,000, only about a third of which will be from equity, in an area where most prices have stayed the same or fallen from 5 years ago ... so the work, frustration, and late nights are definitely worth it (we did the doors too ...
