On 5/22/07, R M eloquently stated:

Or cheers, even! Deserves only jeers, IMO.

Afloat in a boat rapping a rhyme I wrote...

Anyways, the local yokels just started this program, where the
cop cars are constantly scanning license plates as they drive
through neighborhoods... Mr. Mayor was all like, "and if there is
an amber alert, it will help!" - made me want to wretch. "Fer Da
Kiddos, and for Safety! Tally-ho!"

Don't even get me started on the mayer, who pretty much ram-
rods whatever he wants down our throats, votes be damned.

This right after we get "red light" cameras... it's enough to make
a person steam... un-imaginative people, wondering why I have
a problem- "but it cuts down on speeders and accidents", "it
will make finding stolen cars soooo much easier!", etc..

Yup, sick to the stomach. People think they have a right! to
see what's "in the public" for some reason... hell, I blush if
I accidentally see something I shouldn't. - Is staring "in"?!?

Bah. They can already tell what color your eyes are from space!
What more do they want?!?!? Everyone wearing GPS locators /
tracking devices or something?!?!? Like cell phones? Ha! Yeah...

Oh well, so the game goes, I guess, but I mourn for the average
joe...

if it keeps going this way, there'll be even sharper lines, too, I
reckon.

I'm not exactly un-biased... I hate speed-bumps...

Hell, might as well do it right-- make everything computer
controlled, eliminate the gas pedal, stop signs, whatnot.
Make randomness really /work/ for it's existence, ya know?

"I see someone in sector 4G isn't with the rhythm, sir"
"thanks citizen! Dispatching flying bass bazookas now"

Too much? =]

Happy (if not literally) Friday!

PS- Too much: Part of what pisses me off about these
cameras, and the automatic fines, is how much fuckin
money they generate for the state. Easy money. So
much so, that I heard we rent them from some company?!

My god people, THINK! Unless... maybe it's best? Yup.
We're smart enough to keep from abusing The System-
it will make us.
Man I love english. Don't laugh!

Yeah.if we perfect it, you won't actually have to /do*/ any-
thing to be fined, simply thinking/talking about it will suffice...
*cuz the machines do it all, or make us do it a certain way

Apologies for any misplaced commas or errat[um|a]!

/me lumbers off, mumbling (and giggling) a little
into his cell phone... *sigh* ;]
