Here's an interesting story related to me that I"m looking for more info on:

In 1998 a Tibetan Gelug monk, Khenpo A-chos, retreated to his village
hut, lay on his cot, and began chanting the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra
non-stop. He was in his 80s and suffered from no known ailments, nor
had any known health issues.

Soon thereafter villagers noticed a bright rainbow above his hut.
When they went in to check on him they found him dead. When wondering
how to prepare the body the local Lama, Lama A-chos, instructed the
villagers to wrap his body in his yellow monk's robe, but to leave him
on the cot.

Villagers noticed that his skin was bright pink and shining. They
also noticed that his body seemed to shrinking. After a few days all
that remained was a few hairs on his pillow. When asked about this by
the villagers Lama A-chos said that Khenpo was a "rainbow body."

Has anyone ever heard of this? I found an entry in wikipedia, but it
was unintelligible.
