I think that in the past no one was interested in seeing Saturday morning cartoons turned into movies. So when someone got the idea that it might work, others took a wait and see approach. Some did well. X-Men I like a lot. Fantastic 4 sucked (even Jessica Alba - mmmmmmmmm - could not save it with a bra and panty scene), Flintstones was mildly amusing. This one looks promising. Of course since the nearest theater is over 20 miles from where I live I will have to wait until it is at Netflix.
