Yeah, they want to move me to salaried, where I'd currently make less $. Eh... FWIW, I feel the employer should "pay" for lunch, as a sorta "hey, thanks". I know I always offer "workers" food and drink if they're banging on stuff for a while... (I don't think it should be a law, but, ya know) Course, it's different if you're contracting, or making crazy $$$, or whatnot. Maybe part of the problem is everyone wanting to be "equal"...
