I've got a RAZR v3m -- silver, works fine. Wife went through a pink one already-- they've got a whole dept for RAZR problems at most phone call centers. :-/
As I said, mine's been fine though. What I like, is to get a popular enough phone so that things like bitpim will work with it. Screw having to take it in to sync contacts and pictures (if you've got a camera) and whatnot. Verizon actually disabled the bluetooth file transfer service on the phone, which pisses me off to no end. Bastards want you to pay 2 bucks a ring tone or whatever. BS. But they've had great service, and coverage, so, eh. I got around it, anyways. I still recommend them to others. Some stuff "voids the warranty" or whatnot, but with the proper tools (moto has some now), theoretically, you can avoid that too. I love having a l33t setup-- I'm pimping some Samurai Champloo theme type deal at the moment.
