Yeah, very sad. The Kashmiri tension coupled with this whole "hunt for the Taliban" thing and the Indian Parliament bombing, has created unbelievable tension there. The Muslim and Hindu extremists are really at each other. It's sad. Fortunately, most industrialized parts of India are "civilized" enough to be safe from these sorts of outbreaks of violence. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of the geographic landmass that is the Indian Sub-Continent, is not industrialized. The tension between these two groups was created primarily by the British... divide and conquer, right? Hopefully they'll be able to work it out....most people in that region are good about istening to their respective religious AND political leaders, but it doesn't take much to initiate a mob there.
