On Jefferson, absolutely!  It's so odd (for me) to re-look at the
Declaration, though, in light of the fact that it was simply a
stalling tactic.  When you read it from that perspective, you can
totally see the Congressional bureaucracy:

"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one
people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with
another ..."

Which, while brilliantly written, is really saying, "blah, blah, blah,
the British suck - we're outta here."
