I think it's tomorrow - but late, like a midnight release. But stores already have them and some are putting them out early. Some newspapers (like "The NY Times") bought them early and have already done reviews - apparently with spoilers. Rowling is (probably reasonably) pissed because the fans are getting spoilers from major newspapers before the vast majority of them are even able to get the book.
