He would indeed. It's nice that white collies are allowed though...in shelties it's a major fault and not at all desired. Even in collies though it's a lot harder to show (and finish) a white collie. > I'm on the fence about >this since I'd rather not deal with an unfixed dog. I would highly recommend neutering your dog. Breeding really is best left for the experts and should only be done with the intent to produce the best dogs possible. Unless you know enough about the breed to judge your dog's structure and qualities and know if the dogs being bred to him are a good match for those, you really shouldn't be breeding....not without doing a lot of research, going to shows and learning how to judge structure, ideally working with an experienced breeder that can help you learn how to cross-fault dogs to determine which ones to breed together, etc. There are also a whole slew of genetic tests you would need to run on your dog to make sure they do not pass on any physical problems...hip dysplasia, collie eye, PRA, etc. are all common in collies and must be tested for before breeding. If you google "dog breeding" I'm sure you'll find a lot of information on all the important steps needed in being a responsible breeder. --- Mary Jo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Download the latest ColdFusion 8 utilities including Report Builder, plug-ins for Eclipse and Dreamweaver updates. http;//www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=labs%5adobecf8%5Fbeta Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:238802 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
