Maybe - but now that I've fixed it it works... so I probably won't fix it. ;^)

It's not a bad machine really - just old. It's slower than a new one, but fast
enough (dual PIII 1000's are still pretty fast for a server, even a virtual
server host).

Oh yeah - I've not got a chance to test but I think that was my problem - I
think I put the third stick in the wrong slot when I rebuilt. This is an old
mobo - I think that the sticks need to be placed in a specific order. I'm
nearly positive that once I open 'er up and switch the slots everything will be
happy again.

I put the machine through a stress test for the last 48 hours - no problems. I
doubt I'll leave it on 24/7 again but I'll be sure to check it more often.

Of course now that I've got the server working my workstation is acting up...
just locks up solid for seemingly no reason. Definately hardware related. I
think that might be RAM as well - I've pulled two sticks out of that one to see
if it stops.

Sometimes I think that I'm cursed to always have at least one computer in the
house hosed... ;^)
