At first, I thought there was something really wrong with my network LAN when transferring 5gigs of files between machines took so long. I don't know why but I expected a 1Gig/s connection to do that in a minute ^_^.
I want the 'instant' computer that we all dream of. Where files copy in seconds and you never wait for the OS to do anything! I see what Dave is getting at with the whole MAC thing though. I think that we have to admit that Microsoft is playing catchup in this area, but it seems that they went in the right directionw ith the available features in VIsta. Still not giving it a try solely because of gaming performance and driver support, though. Maybe after the SP1. Recently Microsoft released a 'fix' for SLI mode in Vista. Now how long has Vista been out folks? I still say that this OS was really not ready for release, all things considered.
