No it would not. Because the cost of doing this will impact the bottom line of most of the major industries in the United States, and not to mention China.
It is because of Industrialisation that the US is the superpower it is today, and through Industrialisation that China seeks to become a challenger to that Superpower. Sources of Power such as coal, the chemical industry for fertiliser, the feeding of dead body parts to animals etc. all play a vital role in the rapid growth of various Industries in any economy. To curtail, alter, or altoghether stop these activities is simply not an option economically. If things get bad then some company will come up with Space Suits for you to wear for a minimal cost. Underwater cities are also a possibility. With genetic engineering you may be able to grow gills. Please stop worrying about the inevitable demise of the present human race, and get on with the business of consuming. >:-) eee hee hee hee On 8/10/07, Scott Stewart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Lets simplify this even more: > > We know that the by products of industry and many of our modern conveniences > are toxic and are known to damage the planet.
