Putting a chip in someone is not surgery. When we had our dogs done, it was
like giving them a shot. It took a few seconds to get it done. Not sure
about the process of taking it out, but I am sure that too would be nothing.
A small incision to remove the chip and a band-aid at worst. I say do it.
