Are we into revisionist history already? There were plans to go to Iraq, way before. And for Democracy? Please! Is Iraq /really/ the #1 Democracy-needer? Tertiary intention, perhaps- not the main intention tho. Saudi-Arabia would've been a more logical place to start. Oh... yeah. That's crazy talk (and just a quick example- I know the tangled web ;). The whole war was BS from the start- but I was like, if we go in, then we don't leave it in a mess. Not after our true history, ya know.
