Very sad...reminds me of a friend of mine I used to work with. About five years ago now, we were both underage but went to the Applebee's right next to where we worked and had some drinks. They didn't check our id's...after a while we left. He drove me back to our shop, and offered to give me a ride home, but I rode my bike to work. Well apparently 5 minutes after that he hit a guy riding his bike home from work and killed him. Then pushed him off of the windshield. The car was totaled, he abandoned the car and went home. The cops figured out what happened, and he was arrested. Really a sad event, the guy was really a decent person who just reacted wrong. Last I heard he was in college awaiting trial. He didn't go to trial before I moved which was about two years after it happened.
