Man, I just wonder if these 11 year old kids can really handle that type of pressure and subsequent defeat. I know sports is great but losing the local district and losing at the international level is a huge difference. I saw it on ESPN and yeah I just wanted to reach out and hug the kid.
I'm curious if anyone has done any studies on the psychological effects of things like this. J.J.
