SysInternals tools (which was bought by Microsoft apparently since their 
website now gores to microsoft.com) are always of high quality.  I'm not sure 
if the specific feature you have is supported but either Process Monitor or 
Process Explorer might have it.

I fell your pain tho'... it always seems like you have to leave at least one 
really great feature behind when you switch to something new.
