Dude, I am so sorry to hear that. I did the same thing with my daughter's cat several years back. I don't know what hurt more, the fact that I did this to an innocent animal or the pain that my daughter went through. Fortunately I got her a new kitten the next day so that helped. I have a cat now, Fred that I totally adore. I am really going to miss him when I go back to the army.
