Follow up question... What do people use locally (windows development machines) for connecting to and synchronising with the subversion server? I have been playing with tortoise but it has a few drawbacks.
1) The version log includes every file in one big list and there seems to be no way to filter it, this makes it tricky to roll back one file to an earlier state since you have to spend a lot of time trying to find it in the list. 2) There seems to be no way to compare and old version of a file with the current copy, for example if I change a file say 5 times and create versions 1 to 5 of the file, viewing version 1 of the file shows a comparison with version 2 when it would be more useful to see a comparison with version 5.
