Moldova is between Ukraine and Romania, and the language is a cousin language of Romanian, or so I am told. The Ukrainians, btw, would be very surprised to hear that they are not part of Europe.
I'm not disputing the numbers of troops. The US and Britain fielded the vast majority of the troops for the fight. Some countries, like Ukraine, deployed specialized forces, others deployed medical units and engineering units for civil projects. None of that changes the fact that many other countries joined the coalition. Many of the countries that joined simply don't have significant resources to give. The limits of their ability to contribute should not diminish the value of their contributions. If the right-wing alternate universe includes honoring the contributions of our allies, sign me up. I'm not going to call you a communist. ;-) On Nov 18, 2007 11:45 PM, Dana wrote: > mostly? How do you figure that?
