In general 42-45mpg around town, usually 45-50mpg on the freeway depending on where we're going. We'd do better if we didn't live near the top of a hill since the engine runs when it's cold when we're going downhill and then we need the engine to get back home (although I have managed to do the last section from the stop sign up the hill and onto the drive entirely on the electric motor - as long as there's no one behind me to be bothered by me going 10mph :) Even hammering up and down I-5 (which we do quite a bit) we tend to get around 46mpg. Going up to Sacramento on I-80 typically gets up 50mpg.
