If I can get to my storage bin down in CT this weekend, I can get a picture of an even geekier tree.
I build a tree out of old circuit boards, leds in various colors (red, green, yellow), and a radio shack blinker on some of the circuits. 3 foot high, and proof that surplus electronic/military stores are a bad, bad places. (I also have a map of the US made out of circuit boards, with lights at the capitols, DC, and cities where I have lived. That one is bigger, about 4.5 feet across.)
