Yeah, when ever the flavors of a food get released and combined with another
flavor, the food is happy.  Adding spice or vodka (one of Emril's favorite
beverages, I gather), along with assorted other adult beverages, is, in
Emril's words, "Kicking it up a notch."

I dunno .. calls stuff happy all of the time.  When it's in the oven, when
he puts spices on it, when it's soaking in something .. but true, the food
does seem especially happy when it's got a little rum in it ;)
