"tend to be a bit faster?" That was true until the Core2Duos.. Don't get me wrong, I love AMD.. that's just not a correct statement. As far as hardware configurations.. nah I don't have one but honestly I've seen some real good deals on Slickdeals.net from dell.. Really no point in building from scratch unless you want to for fun (or something real customized).. but as far as cost.. You're better off finding a good deal.
