I am sure that everything you say about your experiences is true. But I keep bringing it back to Ireland, where people had been killing each other for centuries, and atrocity after atrocity committed on both sides in an effort to eradicate the other side. And it wasn't those atrocities that created the peace there. Yes, that's a completely different culture, but certain human factors are constant -- when you start killing civilians, their family members feel there is no hope in anything but violence and revenge. So I do not think your way will work. Though I respect your courage in trying.
