someone toss me a muffin... it's been a bad day already. Last week we had a database server issue. No big problem, our development SQL Server box died. Okay, let me rephrase that, ntoskrnl.exe wouldn't load.
This morning I ask my network admin to see why the SQL Server agent for our live data server won't restart. He looks at the box and it's not even pulling up the desktop (resources peaked). He reboots and *bam*... ntoskrnl.exe failed to load. He's rebuilding now, but this is our live server which means I'm helping out in support. A quick inspection showed the \WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder to only have 17 files (normal is in the hundreds). Yuck.
