Was John Doe there? I love his new stuff as John Doe Thing.

I haven't listened to X in like, maybe, a month.

I remember being surprised one day while in the ticket line at the Agora
Ballroom (Hartford). He was sitting at the ticket table, taking tickets and
stamping hands (with the uv ink).

And they weren't even playing that night.

I can't remember from this distance in time if it was Tower of Power (where
Huey Lewis put in a surprise appearance), or if it was Echo and the
Bunnymen, or maybe Husker Du, but he was sitting there at the front table,
chatting with everyone, and stamping hands.

I thought that was very cool.
