Actually the largest refinery in the country (supplying 2/3 of the countries fuel) just went on strike for two days but when you add on the 2 day shut down period and the 2 week start up time it caused lots of panic buying of fuel and that pushed prices up. I am still paying between £1.05 and £1.10 per litre but some stations have been profiteering and charging up to £1.50 US Conversion (pounds/litre to dollars/us gal) £1.05 = $7.87 £1.10 = $8.25 £1.50 = $11.26 > Bear in mind that Brits drive cars that get sensible mpg - not like > the ridiculous sub-20-mpg monsters that many Americans drive. Most do, unfortunately I only average about 12mpg in mine so I need a new mortgage to run it! -- Jay ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:259198 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
