I've had my sears riding lawnmower for a little over 3 years now. 1st year was fine.
2nd year, the head gasket blew, but it was covered under the 2 year warranty. 1 month ago, a bracket that held up the mower deck broke. It took 3 weeks to get the replacement part. My wife was mowing tonight while I worked in the yard. I heard a pop, the mower died. The shaft spins freely now until it hits something solid. Then you can spin it backwards until it hits something solid 360 degrees the other way. I'm assuming it's thrown a rod. Replacement motor from Sears: New $999, rebuilt $599. Original price of the tractor $1599. I should've frickin hired people to do my lawn. I'd be ahead right now. -- Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time, Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;192386516;25150098;k Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:260522 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
