eh I am not sure what he said. But I don't think I shifted anything. The state is mostly very very conservative with a few new-age pockets in Taos and Santa Fe. Because of voting patterns, we are usually about 50-50 in elections, as a lot of the traditioonals and the progressive both have opted out of the process.
Gettign back to the point though -- the remark was personal, not political.
