Ok, so I asked you to recite for me, or tell me the government official that could recite for me, "[the iraq] mission, the milestones, the metrics, and progress against metrics" You said, "It's a war, not a corporate expansion project. Metrics don't mean shit if you lose. We are winning." In other words, your response indicates that you don't know what the Iraq mission, milestones, metrics and measures are. You choose to cling to subjective platitudes like "we're winning". What I'm challenging you with is to specifically define "winning" by telling me the Iraq mission, the milestones, the metrics, and progress against metrics which lead you to the conclusion that we're winning. Since you don't seem to be able to do that (nor does anyone in our government or anywhere) the only logical conclusion is that: (1.) We have troops in foreign country getting killed. (2.) We don't know why, and can't articulate their mission nor any objective measure of progress. (3.) Therefore we don't control their fate. That is not a good way to run a military. In fact the total abdication of responsibility seems criminal. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;203748912;27390454;j Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:264182 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
