Can someone please answer this question? He isn't running for President of Germany. He isn't running for a post in the EU. Why is he giving a speech there? Who is he hoping to impress, the German public? Why? If he wants to impress upon German leaders his ideas for the country, he can do that in private. But a public speech in front of thousands of people who are not going to vote in the election in November?
