As you all know from my previous posts I'm "not a believer", but I
realize the importance of having my daughters exposed to differing
points of view. Unfortunately, in Texas, there's really one main
point of view. So, with that in mind, I agreed with my wife's
suggestion that we sign up our daughters for a bunch of different
types of camps including christian based ones.

Imagine my horror this weekend when my daughter announced that there
were no such things as dinosaurs, "because they aren't in the
bible".......ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I thought my wife handled it ok though. Surprisingly my wife told my
daughters that there are a lot of different beliefs in the world
including "people like daddy who don't think jesus was real either".

I really wanted to get her to the museum of science and natural
history this weekend, but didn't have time with all our other
appointments....but it is on the list to do before school starts.
Just wish I could take her to the Denver Museum of Science and Natural
History......they had an awesome Tyrannosaurus there.

zB

omg....I still can't believe my progeny said that!

Hindsight is always 20-20,
But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy
Speak of mutually assured destruction?
Nice story... Tell it to Reader's Digest!
