So, I think I'll be getting a job offer this week to be the new IT Director of
the Anchorage Museum Foundation. The Anchorage Museum used to be run by the
city but is now being transferred to a non-profit - so lots of growth and
change - a new building being built - lots of growth potential and opportunity.
Lots of work. Great boss. Good benefits. Excellent organziational culture -
low turnover. NO TRAVEL. But five day work week (I have a four day work week
now).

But I just got 2.5 million to do a project I started three years ago. And I'd
LOVE to finish this project. But in my current job, my ED sucks, she always
has and will never change. I'll be the boss of one, less growth potential,
less responsibility. Lots of travel. Four day work week. Comfort zone here -
you know?

I'm really wondering what I should do. The CFO told me when I left that I wil
be hearing from her before friday and that she CANNOT WAIT to talk to me again
- their Contractor knows me well and he told her I'd be a good fit (he's a
great guy!).

But I have it pretty easy here- set my own hours, flexibility, gotta work from
home sometimes? Ok. Although with the project ramping up, this job will no
longer be cake. You know?

So what would you do?
