It also enables faster course corrections, so to speak, and
grass-roots (not sure if that's the right term tho) type whatnots--
wish we'd use this stuff for Good a little more.
Some people are, which is heartening. Maybe the good will become the
majority, and the sensationalist crap's influence will subside. :-)

Yeah, there are a lot of people like that, which is just sad, when,
even on OTA television, there's plenty of *real*, less-spun, *meat*,
on PBS.

And on cable/satellite it's even sicker! There is really just a TON
of great programming (hehe) these days. Access to an amazing array of
historical information... just freakish amounts of excellent data (I
could easily spend a couple lifetimes just taking it in, and there's
always more!) Different interpretations of events, etc., just wicked
cool! Our children should be able to do just amazing things, you
know? Hell, WE should be able to do amazing things. Pity so much
energy is sorta wasted (nothing can be wasted, but still).

Yet, there's TMZ ("entertainment" news). Weehooo! MSM isn't too
different-- all flash and emotion, not much substance.

I like options, so it's all good, but wow, we've got so much
potential. I just hope evolution favors... well, those with
potential. It's our choice.
We can get past the emotional animal, we don't have to be such slaves
to our base instincts anymore.

Killing what's different, and fearing the unknown, are pretty silly
approaches, in light of intelligence, and reason and whatnot.

Evolution is such an interesting concept, when mixed with consciousness.

I think your average person would rather not have choices tho, strange
as it sounds. Easier to attribute things to "reality", than our will,
I guess.

Wow, now I'm *really* getting abstract. Things changing, things
staying the same... who even puts much thought into crap like that.
It's all so cliché.
