Yes it is...There are in-game signs and everything! You aren't supposed to verbally communicate with your partner..you're supposed to sign everything.
So if you want to ask her if she is holding any Face cards, you might pass a finger gently down your cheek, while arching an eyebrow. Asking if she has the king of Trump, you might tap your moustache..queen is touching your ear..things like that make it really interesting. 10 of any suite, all important card for Game point (each 10 counts as 10 points toward Game), is to touch the knuckles of one hand. There are people that are very good at these signs, and the other players may not notice...and there are times when you are trying to pay attention to what your partner is doing, while at the same time trying to keep an eye on what's going on with the other couple as well.
