Hey... If it was run by the UN from the getgo, everything would be great.
Each nation would have it's own internet, none of them would speak the same
language, the US would pay for 95% of it, bureacrats in France and Germany
would get rich of the "bytes for food" program and the rest of the world
would blame the US and Israel for it not working.  The US, Canada, and
Britian would have the only working connections being a part of the
coalition of the willing.  What's wrong with that?
