And you're in the North! It's a bit worse here in the southern "North Georgia Mountains ..." where the racial makeup of the county, as of 2000, was 97.94% White, 0.58% Black or African American, 0.25% Native American, 0.23% Asian ... I hear stuff like that all the time. :(
