Oh please. The Congressional leadership delivered a win by porking up the bill with hand-outs to the people who they thought they could get to vote for it. Obama may have delivered the Congressional Black Caucus. He certainly tried, I just don't know offhand how they voted. Good for him for using some political capital to help get the bill passed. > > We saw McCain conduct an erratic series of impulsive attempts at doing > something all of which delivered nothing. It is precisely because it is an election year and this bill is enormously unpopular that those other people voted against it, as you well know. If McCain had not gone to DC, blown up the original proposal, and forced Democrats to give House Republicans a seat at the table, this bill would never have seen the light of day. > > And then I concluded that we don't need a president who does shoot, > point, aim as McCain does. LOL, you expect anyone to believe that you just now concluded that you are voting for Obama? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:272263 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
