The bill of rights does not enumerate the rights of the individual, it 
prohibits government from enacting laws infringing on certain rights.

The FEDERAL government may not legislate on any issue not specifically 
mentioned in the bill of rights or the constitution.  There is an 
amendment process in place to alter the text of the constitution.  You 
aren't protecting freedom and liberty, after the first trimester you are 
TAKING the freedom and liberty of a sentient being.
