By what measure? First there needs to be some tougher accounting standards in place that would grade a company with an impartial credit rating that would take into account leverage and risk. Second you need to compensation to time. So, for example, options can't be excercised for 5 years whether you're at the company or not. Third you need to link perks and salary to the companies revenue, profit, and risk. By doing these things you attract people intent on building long term wealth rather than short term accounting tricks. Private Equity does this every day. Think Burger King, Toy r US, et al. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:272856 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
